BALSA Foundation
What: The BALSA Grant is free help to start a business
BALSA Grant finalists receive:
Free (non-dilutive) cash grant of $1,000
The Learning Series, a 10-week comprehensive entrepreneur training program that helps participants realize their potential, introduces them to the St. Louis business ecosystem and brings them industry experts every week that also includes one-on-one time with each presenter after the session.
Valued at $20,000+ in In-kind professional services
One-on-One Mentoring
Who: Offering first-time entrepreneurs a grant to get their ideas off the ground.
When: You can apply to The BALSA Grant twice a year, January 1-24 and July 1-24.
Regional Arts Commission Grants
What: RAC offers Artist Support Grants, Organizational Grants, and Program Support Grants annually.
When: Opens July 2024
Beginning the week of January 29, RAC will hold a series of grant application writing workshops, which will be posted on RAC’s YouTube channel and available to all applicants. Additionally, RAC will provide several opportunities for organizations and artists to receive in-person assistance.
ARCH Grants
ARCH Grants finalists receive:
$75,000 equity-free funding + $25,000 for relocation + eligibility for additional funding of up to $100,000
Ala carte programming, fundraising support, and access to the Arch Grants network
Exclusive discounts and talent acquisition support
Who: Founders with idea-stage to pre-Series A companies and companies with an innovative + scalable business model.
When: Application window February – March every year!
IFundWomen • Caress Dreams Fund Grant Program
What: amika is partnering with the SoGal Foundation to launch the “Rooted in Growth” Startup Grant Program. This program will provide grants of $25,000 to BIPOC or LGBTQIA+ founders. These grants will work to provide both longevity and sustainability in their businesses, which is why amika is also offering a mentorship program to support brands in areas such as professional distribution, marketing, finance, and more.
Who: This grant will be given to four haircare founders and innovators who identify as BIPOC female or nonbinary (for the full criteria, click here).
When: Applications close mid-July.

Visa She's Next Grant Program for Canadian Entrepreneurs
Visa is back with more funding opportunities for women-owned businesses in Canada, in partnership with IFundWomen. As part of Visa’s continued commitment to support small businesses, women entrepreneurs in Canada are encouraged to apply for another chance to win $10,000 CAD plus a one-year IFundWomen Annual Coaching membership.
IFundWomen Universal Grant Application

Fearless Fund: Fearless Strivers Grant Contest
Black women-owned businesses are vital to our economy yet receive less than one percent of venture capital funding. Fearless Fund is deepening its commitment to this community with the launch of the 2023 Fearless Strivers Grant Contest.

Visa Global Hub
The challenges that women entrepreneurs face are universal. Visa, in collaboration with IFundWomen, has created access to funding and education for small businesses around the world through the Visa She’s Next Grant Program. In 2022, we have expanded our impact by launching global programs that will offer monetary grants & coaching memberships to entrepreneurs in more than 10 countries worldwide.
IFundWomen • BOTOX® Cosmetic Grant Program
For the first time, BOTOX® Cosmetic, in partnership with IFundWomen®, will help close the Confidence Gap by providing 20 groundbreaking women entrepreneurs each with $25k grants, coaching, and mentorship. Honorees will also become a part of the award-winning IFundWomen® Method Crowdfunding Accelerator, designed to fuel ambitions, increase confidence, and drive long-term impact for future women founders.
